SAFE HANDS - the care and mobility shop at 37 Biggin Street Dover, are the newest members of the Loyalty Scheme.
Electric scooters to give you independance and many items of furniture and accessories to make life that much more comfortable, are available here.
SAFE HANDS incentive is a whopping £50 off any scooter during the month of February - what an excellant incentive; if you already have a scooter, call in and see what other things you may need.

I am very sorry to say that there has been an unavoidable delay in printing the Loyalty Cards. They will not now be available until the week-end of December 9th.
I will in the meantime, continue to contact local businesses to increase membership of the scheme to make it even more worthwhile shopping in Dover.

Dover Loyalty Scheme - an Introduction.
The Loyalty Scheme is intended to regenerate interest in shopping in Dover shops, instead of the out-of-Town
shops: residents will get a discount for their loyalty in shopping here and businesses will get an increase in income, through more people spending in their shop.
Loyalty cards will now be available to be collected from any of the participating businesses, so easier availability – just complete the registration form and go discount shopping: also to be used by Dover businesses and their staff – they are all shoppers.
Members will have their businesses advertised monthly in the Dover Express, including their current offers, it may mean that businesses might not need to do any newspaper advertising ever again – this alone could save them hundreds of pounds a year.
Each business will be promoted on the Loyalty Scheme web-site www.doverloyaltyscheme.co.uk by being a featured business on every page of the website; whenever anyone visits any of the pages on the web-site, one of the members’ businesses will be seen; there will also be a link to their web-site.
If any business needs a web-site, I have negotiated with the company that have updated the Dover Loyalty Scheme web-site and they will build a fully working web-site, consisting of 3 pages, with up to 4 photos per page and all the relevant text and links etc., for just £250; there is an additional cost for hosting, at £10 per month, payable direct to the company; this will also include the cost of domain-name registration. A more comprehensive web-site can be built if required, but at extra cost of course.
Card-holders and the general public will be encouraged to view the site at every opportunity, to see the range of current members and what is on offer as well as any news.
The members will be encouraged to put posters in their shop window showing they are members of the Loyalty Scheme; the posters will also have all the other members on it as well.
Networking meetings for participating members will start in the New Year, so they can promote their business to each other.
A (colour) Newsletter, with information about the members and their offers, general news from around Dover and anything relevant to the people and the businesses of Dover, will be produced in the New Year. There will be the opportunity to advertise in the newsletter, to promote your DLS discounts, and your full range of services.
Businesses who are not able to offer discounts (taxis, Banks, Building Societies etc.), but who want to promote their business, can also advertise in the Newsletter, on the web-site (including links) and be shown in the monthly advertisement. in the Dover Express.
The cost of being a member, starts at just £3.00 per week; for an extra £2.00 a week, you can have your business promoted on the web-site as a featured business, as well as having a link to your own web-site: we do ask for a link back to the Dover Loyalty Scheme web-site.
I have been in discussions with BLK, regarding being able to offer small businesses, courses on a range of subjects, from Marketing to Health and Safety; these will be FREE to members of the Dover Loyalty Scheme. Further information will be put on the website, as it is confirmed.
*** It must be remembered that a healthy business environment is good for ALL shops in Town - it gives more reason for people to shop here. ***
